20mm Badger strut spacers to fit Toyota Vigo, Revo, Prado 120 and FJ Cruiser
Instructions:
The studs of these spacers has splines and are pressed in.
It sometimes do happen that the stud is not at a right angle to the spacer. We are talking 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm out on the total PCD.
If the studs of the strut do not allign perfectly with the holes in the vehicle, use a hammer and adjust the stud.
You can lightly tap on the side of the stud to adjust the stud inwards or outwards. Always hit on the nut and not on the thread.
Only hit hard anought to move the stud on the splign, not so hard that you bend the stud. See pictures above.
Once the studs are tightened the stud will seat properly which will pull it to a right angle.
TIP: Once you fit the strut spacer on the shock mount the studs will be 60 degrees out.
On some vehicles you can just install the RH strut on the LH and vica versa so the studs allign.
Make sure whether your vehicle’s struts are sided or not before you try this.
