Deutsch Connector – 2 way Male
Quite a few of our lights have deutsch DT connectors already fitted. (Mostly the light bars and bike spotlights.)
Its always good to have a spare, so we’ve started selling loose male and female connectors.
They’re dust and water proof, so if you’re looking to wire something that sees a lot of wind and rain (like outdoor lights in your home or spotlights on top of your bakkie’s roof.) then use these.
Putting the connector together:
- Fit the red rectangular block into the rectangular hole in the back .
- Crimp some wire onto the pins. (use the side with the teeth.) Then fit those into the holes in the back of the plug until you hear a click.
- Then insert the orange piece at the front so it covers the hole and wedge the pins firmly in place.
- Your connector is now ready to it into the female.
