My list so far where I successfully used it is: 1971 Ford Ranchero 6 Cylinder, 1956 Pointiac Chieftain 6 Cyl, 1955 Pointiac Strato Streak V8, Land Rover series 2A petrol, Nissan L28, 2x Toyota 4y in SFA Hilux.
On some of the old cars like the Pontiac, I install the unit inside the cabin under the dash and only send the wires to the engine bay. That way you do not destroy the authenticity of the car that much and an untrained eye will never guess that you converted it.
 
By replacing the condenser with the MrCarMan module you combine the mechanical reliability of points and the performance gain of an electronic ignition system.
The points now act only as a pulse trigger, thus triggering only an extremely low current. Because the points only switch millivolts it will never burn and will probably outlast your vehicle.

When your car has an old points type coil, replace it with a coil suitable for electronic ignition coil as the internal resistance is lower than the old points coil.
